The Pacific Northwest Newfoundland Club was officially recognized as a Regional Club of America in May of 1992.

Our membership is presently comprised of approximately 40 households from Oregon, Washington, and California. Members' dogs hail from over 20 different kennels.

The goal of the club is to plan activities designed to promote the well-being of the Newfoundland breed and to encourage fellowship of the breed's admirers.

Interests of club members are varied; they include promoting the breed's working abilities, exhibiting their beauty in the conformation ring, community service visits, and being conscientious owners of their beloved pets.

Activities that the club participates in include Obedience Classes, Newf Rescue, Draft Tests, Water Training and Tests, Regional Specialty Shows, Community Service Visits, Club Fundraisers, Annual Holiday Party, and Informational Speakers at meetings.

We care about our dogs and we care about each other.
