Newfs are a high maintenance breed of dog. They need a complete brushing each week, they shed 364 days a year, and they drool BUCKETS. Are you ready to commit to that kind of upkeep?:

In order for you to adopt a Newfoundland from this program, it is necessary for you to have a personal, in-home interview with one of our Rescue Committee members. All members of your household must be present - including the animals. The purpose of the interview is to acquaint you with our breed and its needs, as well as to meet your family and to determine physical and personality matches between dogs and people. Adoption fee is $500.00.
